Tomorrowland for Life bridge

28th June

Some of the images were taken a few weeks before the official release of the Tomorrowland for Life bridge at De Schorre Boom. ??This is a piece of art created by Arne Quinze, a Belgian artist, which represents the unique character of Tomorrowland. It is a??physical construction, built out of thousands wooden slates, all engraved with unique and positive quotes by fans and lovers of Tomorrowland who could send in their messages and designs.

Arne Quinze???s public installation in Boom is meant to serve as a ???bridge??? between nature, music, the local environment and the world. It won???t include wings. Instead, Quinze will use glass windows in the steel construction, as a reference to the stained glass in Flanders??? cathedrals. All of this fits in nicely with the ???natural chaos??? concept the artist has been developing recently, as seen at his??Chaos in Motion??exhibition currently on show in Antwerp.
